I love dressing Em in smocked dresses and I’m always hunting for pretty ones that don’t cost a pretty penny. These are two that I recently bought for Em at Smocked Auctions. I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure what to expect quality wise but I just received the strawberry dress and I am so pleased! The dress material is nice and so is the smocking. It’s absolutely adorable. I’m so excited about them and can’t wait for the weather to warm up so Em can wear them!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Dressing Em post. I think it’s time for an update. This little melon floral number is what she’s wearing today. I buy very little clothes for her [sans Janie + Jack on sale] because she’s been so generously given hand-me-downs and gifted lots of cute dresses like this one. I adore the smocking + scalloped edges.
I’ve mentioned before how much I love finding clothes for Em and putting together outfits for her. This is another one of my favorite dresses from her wardrobe. It’s a pretty little embroidered hand-me-down. It’s a shame it won’t fit her in three months because I think it would make an adorable party dress for her first birthday.
I snapped this yesterday. It’s my favorite Em outfit right now. Black velvet embroidered dress. Patterned tights. Black patent leather shoes. I have always loved fashion, and it’s ten times more fun clothes shopping + putting together little outfits for her!
