em's first birthday party

In addition to the invitations, we also letterpress printed a couple of other things for Em’s first birthday bash. Today, I’m sharing with you the wish cards we printed.

At the entrance of her party, we set up a wish table with pretty silver pens, these letterpress printed wish cards and a sign asking guests to leave their wishes for Em on her first birthday. In lieu of a guestbook, we did something similar at our wedding where guests left their wishes + advice for Kacey and I. In fact, these pens are the same ones guests used at our wedding. I thought the idea would work well for Em’s party plus make nice keepsakes for her memory box. After her party ended and all the guests had gone home, we really enjoyed reading everyone’s wishes for Em. It’s a tradition I hope to continue for her future birthday bashes.

So precious! Your little Em is adorable. I also love this frame. Do you have any idea where it came from?

We purchased the frame at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. It was originally black and we painted it pink to along with her party :]

Ah ha, why didn’t I think of that. They have some similar frames at hobby lobby and I bought them for my daughters room, but they are black and white and I was hoping for pink. PAINT! Sometimes, the obvious, isn’t so obvious, lol. Thanks!

also, do you sell the wish cards. I just found your site through pinterest and I am still scooping it out, but I would love to order some of these cards for my little princess’s b’day

The wish cards are not currently available. However, we would be happy to print custom wish cards for you. How many do you anticipate needing and by when? Let me know and I can put together a price estimate for you.
